no, RPGs have a set storyline which you follow, and are more final fantasy type things.. i'd call this an arcade/shooter style game.. with some progression features (upgrades and what-not)

u do realise that in this interesting new world we live in, some minerals are more valuable than others, and diamonds are one of those valuable minerals. These valuable minerals can be exchanged for currency. The dollar sign ($) is a way of displaying the fact that it's talking about currency. Therefore, diamonds = $ so you earn money ($)

You should make the missed it text a different color so we can know if we missed or not, it goes by way to fast and its way to small to read any of it.
